SOME RECENT GRANTS

that your donations have supported in the past year

Circle has a long connection to various nature-based programs and rites of passage ceremonies. The Circle Way’s grant support to Wild Mountain Retreats contributed to an Access Fund that provided financial assistance to BIPOC wilderness guide trainees.

“Our dream is that BIPOC participants will feel a deeper sense of safety and belonging when showing up in nature-based programs and rites of passage ceremonies through affinity space and BIPOC guides in leadership.”

Safe Space Circle, an eight-week program for children that grew out of a meeting with community crisis responders who were concerned about dynamics that were negatively impacting the children living in their housing complex.

The goal of Safe Space Circle is for children to feel supported and protected and to introduce a model to the children and families that promoted skills to communicate and engage without violence, using various circle modalities.

“i think of movements as intentional worlds, or perhaps more accurately as worlds designed by and for intentional people, those who are able to feel the world not as an unfolding accident of random occurrences, but rather as a massive weaving of intention. what results from your efforts depends on your intention.” ~ adrienne maree brown (author, doula, activist)
