Donations to The Circle Way non-profit help to support free circle resources and materials, grants for individuals to attend circle trainings, and the design and development of new initiatives and projects grounded in circle that promote racial, gender, disability, ethnic, economic and environmental justice.

Here are some recent examples…

The Circle Way provided grant support for growing a community of circle practitioners across Vietnam, including Vietnamese translation of various circle practice materials.

The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria (AGGV) and Victoria High School's Students of Colour Association (SOCA) brought in Social Justice Consultant and Artist, Angelique Bulosan, to facilitate The New Extreme Art Youth Mentorship Program. This cohort was engaged through several facilitated circle gatherings to explore both racial justice and art-making combined. Inspired by discussions of anti-racism, decolonization and equity, the group created buttons, linocuts and printed tote bags.

While the program provided funding for materials, The Circle Way provided additional funding that ensured every participant would receive materials to be able to continue producing linocut art after the program.

The Culture Den Society was formed with the shared sacred vision of creating a gathering space to promote, support and amplify Indigenous contemporary arts and culture. They are an Indigenous organization, who has been navigated non-profit legislation without sacrificing the integrity of their methodology which is grounded in a circle way. The Circle Way provided some grant support to hire facilitators and artists to help inform the circle-based governance of the Culture Den Society.
